Game Room Attendant

JOB SUMMARY

 

Actively and enthusiastically promote an atmosphere of fun, excitement and game competition among our “kid” guests. Help with the games, serve our guests at the Redemption Center and demonstrate game play. Help with routine game/ticket maintenance and repairs. Ensure all games, Redemption Center and game room are sparkling clean and free of litter.

 
Summary of Essential Duties

Consistently practice Shakey’s® Signature Service standards to ensure a quality, fun Shakey’s experience.
Demonstrate Fun, Integrity, Empowerment and Respect at all times.
Smile and treat kids as special guests.
Greet the guests upon arrival at the game room.
Assists guests with ways to improve their performance on games or how games operate.
Respond to guests complaints of games not working. Troubleshoot the problem and report status to a manager.
Keep games, counter tops and Redemption Center clean and wiped down at all times.
Merchandize prizes according to Game Room Standards.
Practice suggestive selling techniques.
Consistently close guest experience with statements of appreciation and invitation to return.
Supports other work stations as needed.


Qualifications and Experience

Flexible schedule; evenings and weekend availability a must.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

 

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to read, write and speak English.
Outstanding verbal communication skills.
Provides consistent service standards that create a fun guest experience.
Interacts well with other team members.
Excellent “eye” for detail and the ability to multi-task.


Education

High School education, diploma (or in process) or GED, preferred.
